125cc Scooter Vlog 21: Anti-Lock Brake System Story Time

I want to talk about ABS on Scooters. And if you don't know what ABS is, It stands for Anti-Lock Braking System also as known as Anti-Skid Braking System. It is a small metal tool attached usually on the front side of the wheel, but sometimes the backside as well.  Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is a safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle to maintain traction with the road.


It works by using a sensor on the read the wheel speed and determine if the wheels are trying to lock up during braking. AS this leads up to my scooter a story time on how I nearly face planted myself into cement because my front wheel locked up, due to not having ABS. Because my previous scooters had ABS, I got use to the idea of having a safety net on my brakes. But once I got on a scooter without them, everything changed.
