How Does Scooter Warranty Work?

STICKERS NOW AVAILABLE https://ramenonwheels.bigcartel.com/ How Does Scooter Warranty Work? A typical scooter from a name brand reputable scooter company tend to provided customers with a scooter that is covered by a 1 to 2 year unlimited mile warranty. Usually starting at the time of purchase, you will receive a warranty certificate with a detailed breakdown of what is covered and not covered by the warranty. Generally all service performed on scooter should be done by an certified mechanic. The reason being is that most manufacturing companies won't ship scooter parts to you or just to any random mechanic. But instead only to the dealership from which the scooter was bought. The plus side to that is that the parts ans labor are free of charge. If you experience a mechanical issue with your scooter and you believe it is warranty related, what you would do is call the dealer you purchased the scooter from and make an appointment for an inspection. Then the dealer will assess the cause of the malfunction and determine if the repair is covered under warranty. However, the costs of transporting the scooter to and from the authorized dealership is your sole responsibility. Depending on your insurance, it's possible to get a policy with roadside assistance or tow-a-way type of deal. Things that are not typically covered by warranty are your brake pads, cables, tires, bulbs, belts, and sometimes even the battery isn't. It just depends on the particular warranty. Things that are covered are your piston, the forks, engine and sometimes the scooters frame So the word "Covered" really means your scooter will be fixed if the mechanical failure occurred under normal riding conditions and your scooter had been properly maintained and treated responsibly. In other words, if you break your scooter by of road riding, forgetting to change the oil, installing a big bore kit, and thing of that nature, then you warranty is void and you are not covered.
